Hull City Council’s Invest Hull team will be showcasing its Supporting Business Growth project funded by UKSPF.
Additionally, we will introduce Connect to Work, backed by Department for Work and Pensions funding, aims to help over 1,000 people per year to return to work.
The ‘place, train, retain’ model will work with both employers and employees to ensure those returning to work are adequately prepared for their roles, including through initiatives such as Skills Bootcamps.
Building on this, explore opportunities for team days out with the brand-new high ropes course launched at Hull Adventure Centre, where visitors can tackle the assault course whilst karts race below them.

Creative Growth Hull & East Yorkshire is designed to be an opportunity for businesses to share their ambitions, while considering ways to manage any risks to stability and growth. Already participants are experiencing remarkable success since joining this innovative programme.

At our Business Day Breakout Session, two of the cohort businesses will be sharing their journeys so far, followed by a panel discussion to look at ways to support our creative industries in the region over the coming years to grow.
